Acceptance of placement declaration: Acceptance of Placement Declaration 2025
The acceptance of placement declaration is part of the placement approval process for all pre-service teachers. This resource can be referred to when having professional and reflective discussions with the PST throughout the placement. For any concerns or questions related to points in this declaration please reach out to the OLA who is supporting the PST’s placement.
Professional Experience attendance diary: Attendance Diary 2025
An optional resource for PST’s to keep track of each day completed while on placement and kept for personal records. The diary does not need to be submitted to Swinburne Online. The total days completed are noted on the final placement report.
Professional Experience Weekly support model
All pre-service teachers are enrolled in a Professional Experience Unit with an Online Learning Advisor (OLA). This means that while on placement pre-service teachers will be involved in weekly activities that support all stages of a placement. Your pre-service teachers OLA also supports you as a Supervising Teacher. Prior to the commencement of a placement your pre-service teacher’s Online Learning Advisor will make email contact with you to introduce themselves and offer guidance of how you will be supported as a Supervising Teacher throughout the placement.
